When measured, this compound produces a unique energy peak that cannot be reproduced by other fluorescing compounds. This technology offers manufacturers the ability to assemble or mark their products so they can be positively identified. Many plastics naturally fluoresce blue under UV light, minimizing the inspection advantages of using blue-fluorescing adhesives in parts assembly. DYMAX Ultra-Red fluorescing adhesives remain naturally clear until exposed to UV light, at which point they fluoresce red providing a vivid contrast that permits accurate bond-line inspection.
