STERIS Isomedix Services Expands Contract Sterilization Services

STERIS Corporation of Mentor, OH, has expanded its current Isomedix Services division operations in Minneapolis, MN. The company has added five additional ethylene oxide (EO) processing chambers, increasing total processing volume by 50%. The facility now is able to serve customers with 12 EO chambers ranging from one- to 12-pallet capacity. STERIS Isomedix Services also offers onsite EO technical assistance for sterility validation and protocol generation as well as local trucking services. The expansion is designed to further strengthen the company’s position in the contract sterilization, microbial reduction, and materials modification industry. STERIS Isomedix Services providers contract sterilization services with 21 facilities located in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, using gamma, EO and E-beam technologies.
