Dynatek Launches Testing Equipment

Dynatek of Galena, MO now offers the second-generation Coating Durability Tester (CDT2) that uses laser particle counters to evaluate particulate loss from drug-eluting and other coated stents. According to the company, the CDT2 allows for an expanded range of sample lengths and diameters and can be used for complex sample designs (bent, bifurcated, etc.). The design accommodates laser micrometers for sample measurement, provides internal loop heating for better temperature control and has optional deployment ports for direct device deployment.
